Many of us will be looking for a great Black Friday TV deal this year, but things may have got underway a little earlier than expected as one of the best gaming TVs is now at its lowest ever price.
You can now get the LG 55″ B9 OLED TV for £1099 at various retailers. Rather than a Black Friday sale, though, this appears to be a new standard price across the board for the TV. That represents an extra £200 saving off the usual price of the TV. It seems unlikely, then, that the price will go any lower during Black Friday.
In the UK:
- LG B9 OLED TV for £1099 from Amazon UK
- LG B9 OLED TV for £1099 from John Lewis
- LG B9 OLED TV for £1099 from AO.com
- LG B9 OLED TV for £1099 from Currys PC World
In the US:
What makes this such a great TV for gaming, then? Well, our pals over at Digital Foundry love it for its low input lag, superior colour reproduction, competent motion handling and excellent contrast. You also get four HDMI 2.1 ports to give you some future-proofing for any new tech.
Other models across the range of LG OLED TVs have also seen similar price drops, though nothing quite as substantial as this. If you’re thinking about holding off for the 65″ B9, that could see a further dip on Black Friday. There’s also the more recent LG C9 OLED TV range. That’s more expensive but does feature a faster processor and G-Sync support.
Meanwhile, at Jelly Deals, we’ll have all the best Black Friday offers once the sales extravaganza gets underway. Right now, though, you can find our guides to the best PS4 external hard drives, the best Nintendo Switch SD cards and where to find Red Dead Redemption 2 on PC for the best price.
